WHAT ARE THESE LITTLE BALLS OF FLUFF ON MY ITEMS?
Pilling is a natural occurrence with knitted cotton items, especially on darker colours. It can also become more noticeable when garments are washed with different colours or from rubbing while wearing or playing.
While pilling is inevitable with knitted fabrics, you can reduce it by following these care tips:
- Wash Inside Out: This helps protect the fabric surface.
- Clean Lint Before Washing: Remove any lint or debris from clothes before washing or drying.
- Sort by Colour: Wash similar or dark colours together to prevent abrasion.
- Use a Gentle, Cold Wash: Opt for a gentle cycle with cold water to minimise wear.
- Avoid Overloading: Don’t overload the washing machine so to prevent unnecessary friction.
- Air Dry: Line dry or lay flat to dry instead of using a tumble dryer where possible.
To remove existing pilling, you can use a fabric "de-piller" or fabric comb at your discretion. Please note, any damage caused by improper use of these items, is not covered by our warranty.
STAINS
As our clothes are made to be worn for all occasions, stains from food, dirt, paint and bubbles are inevitable. It is best to treat the stains as soon as possible to avoid the stains becoming permanent. As cotton is a natural fibre, it can absorb the stain more quickly than synthetic materials
For items which include hardware such as overalls, be sure not to soak as the hardware can become susceptible to rust.
Stains and general wear and tear are not covered by warranty.
